The farewell show with the original LRB will be held at the ReelHouse in Boone, NC on May 8. The LRB is proud to announce that Lucas Moomaw(drummer) and Jeremiah Brown(keyboards) will be joining the band for all of the 2010 shows. New pictures will be added to the site soon. The LRB is now under new management by Yellow Dog Entertainment.
Bluegrass!!?? We're not sure that Bill Monroe would approve, but that is how this all started. The Lost Ridge Band has been rockin' Boone, NC for 10 years! It all began with the good ole bluegrass tunes of yesterday and it has slowly evolved into Hard Drivin, Eclectic, Progressive Bluegrass, and Jeremiah Brown adding a taste of funk. The Lost Ridge Band has shared the stage with many great musicians including but not limited to- Doc Watson, Tony Reece (National Dobro Champion 2005), John Skehan of Railroad Earth, Buddy Cage(New Riders of the Purple Sage), and more... Although LRB has been together for a while, they are just beginning to sink into the sound that they were searching for.
